Husbandry

Selection of high quality livestock

Husbandry and feedlot centres in Navarra, Catalonia and Aragon. The production section has a veterinary department which guarantees that the animals are handled properly. Our staff regularly check both the feeding and proper care of the animals.

Shipping

Transport of livestock to slaughter

The livestock is transferred to our facility in Pamplona (Navarra) in our own vehicles. The fleet of trucks is adapted in accordance with the EC 1/2005 standard on the comfort and protection of animals during transport. The trucks have drinking systems, fans, temperature control and GPS tracking. We also have a fleet of refrigerated trucks and delivery vans for the distribution of meat and meat products.

Shipping

We have two cutting rooms; one in Almameat and another located in our Sangüesa work center, Cárnicas Mutiloa. These two spaces allow us to offer and prepare a wide range of formats. Because we rely on in-house production, we can supply meat products whose consistency comes guaranteed. Our Sangüesa Sangüesa work center is specializes in premium cows and provides a more specialized service. However, Almameat focuses more on large distribution and the manufacturing of final products such as burger meats.

We have a cutting room which allows us to offer and prepare a wide range of formats. Because we rely on in-house production, we can supply meat products whose consistency comes guaranteed.

The Almameat facility in Salinas de Pamplona (Navarra, Spain) has a slaughter area, a cutting room and a processing room with the latest technological developments to guarantee high quality throughout the meat process.

At Almameat we rely on this total control to improve the different parts of the value chain, analysing and forever seeking constant improvement in both our products and our processes.

Our monitoring and control systems trace our products in every respect. This means we can respond quickly to the different situations that may occur (a customer request, an audit, a health alert, etc.).
